Today I’m going to say something about homo(Your sister)s圞exuality.
Maybe someone ha圞ve heard that recently the famous actor & actress, the couple, Sun Hai-Ying and Lv Li-Ping, criticized homo(Your sister)s圞exuality strictly on their T圞w1tters. They said, such as, ‘G圞ay itself is a crime’, ‘They should die’, etc.
At least, in my opinion, these comments are pretty rude. However, they also stand for lots of the ones who hold the same view. As is the truth, the prejudice against homos still widely exists. But as is another truth, homos widely exist. They should ha圞ve their equal rights.
I’m straight, I love girls. I admit that I’ll also feel a bit uncomfortable when I see T圞wo man holding each other’s hand or even kissing. But on the other side, I also ha圞ve a few homo friends. Sometimes their orientation makes me feel a bit sick, but at most circumstances, they are good, friendly and hard-working. They like Eminem and Taylor Swift,, they play basketball and DotA. They are just the same as us. Even sometimes we call our best friends ‘好基友(Means Good Homo Partner)’, and what if they were real homos?
On the other hand, where homo is different from evil, traitorous or greed is that it has nothing to do with one’s moral quality. Homo is just a minor orientation. There’re many homo celebrities such as L圞eslie Cheung, Johnny Depp, Elton John, Kevin Tsai, Melissa Etheridge and so on. Ignoring their orientation, they are all awesome in their field. Do you know Alan Turing, the father of Artificial Intelligence? He’s a real genius. However, he was persecuted hard by the government and the society because of his uncommon orientation. Do you want such things to happen more and more? Homos are just ordinary people, they can also contribute a lot, even more, than us heteros.
At last, I’d like to use what Voltaire said to end my speech, ‘I disapprove of your orientation, but I will defend to the death your right to keep it.’
