The Young Romantic——Li Yundi on october 7,1982 ,li was born in an ordinary family in Chongqing,china .his parents both worked for a steel amd iron company ,but dreamed of living in a music life .when li was very young ,his mother bought him an accordion and sent him to study the instrument by the age of 4.at the age of 7,li began to study piano with a teacher in Chongqing.two years later ,his teacher introduced him to one of china's most renowned piano teacher -Dan Zhaoyi.
li studied with him for 9years .in 1994 ,he entered the Shenzhen arts school .in 1999 ,he took franz liszt piano competition of utrecht .in october 2000 ,li participated in the 14th international frederic chopin piano competition in warsaw .he was the first participant to be awarded first prize in 15 years .at 18 years of age ,he was the youngest winner -and the first Chinese -in the competition history .later ,li chose to study at the Hochschule fur musick.theater und medien hannover in hanover,Germany .li praised as the chopin in china due to his superior skill and romantic performance characteristic and the artistic charm .
