ur musical protagonist finds himself on the receiving end of heartbreak. Many times Ocean's tales aren't gender specific, and when he does use signifiers on tracks like "Bad Religion" and "Forrest Gump," the sensationalism of it all takes a back seat to a relatable feeling of pain. So when Frank croons "I can never make him love me," what's most striking isn't the word "him," but rather the emotion that he delivers behind the pronoun.

just my point of view: he drown himself way too much, his consciousness isn't strong enough to make an affectionate yet still remains strong mentality. i think that'swhy this album have so many over-delicate details, he just cherish all these details of his love so much, can't even abstract them in a pro way.

i still need to think about some details of this album, but overall i prefer the mixtape
