Minimum system requirements
The following hardware and software are required to use the Windows Media Video 9 VCM compressor:
Operating system
Requirement: Microsoft Windows 98 SE, Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0, Microsoft Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows XP.
Processor, memory, and disk space
The system specifications required to use the Windows Media Video 9 VCM compressor are determined by the application that interfaces with the VCM driver. Refer to your software documentation for details.
Known issuesInput video in IYUV format is encoded incorrectly
When you use the Windows Media Video 9 VCM compressor with some applications, and with input video in IYUV format, blank output frames are produced.
