Usually the sunrises through my bedroom window, but today it is overcast.Today it is cold. Usually the cats, two of them, come and wake me up earlyreminding me that it’s time for them to eat. Today they do not. They too muststill be sleeping.

I prefer waking upearly to have a moment to myself before I make the long drive to a yoga class.I could do yoga at home, but I still enjoy practicing in a hot classroom,sweating on someone else’s floor. Besides, there are too many distractions athome: a warm bed, a long list of chores, a garden totend, dishes to wash, a warm bed…
在我要开很长一段车去上瑜伽课之前，我喜欢早早地起来，为自己留些独处的时间。倒不是不能在家练瑜伽，但我更享受在一个炎热的练功房里，把汗流在别人家地板上的感觉。另外，在家很容易分心：暖和的被窝，一大堆工作，我的园子，脏盘子，暖和的被窝……
