Bishamon quarantines Tsuguha in her room away from the other shinki.
She calls on Yato to get to the bottom of her symptoms
Yato explains that Hiki’s power is to pry open the memories of a shinki’s past life that should have been sealed away by their new name, and they become trapped by the past. (Father calls this “liberation”)
Shinki afflicted by this slowly fall ill until they degenerate.
If others find out about this, they become trapped in the past as well. Wondering, “Why did I die….?”
Before this happens, the only thing that can be done is release the shinki. But Bishamon does not want to release Tsuguha. She asks if Yato would also release Yukine in a similar situation.
Ebisu gets separated while doing some investigating and begins worrying to himself, so goes to find Yato.
He tells Yato that he’s worried that his father isn’t pleased that Yato is with Yukine and Hiyori.
He says that Yato is only thinking of his own needs rather than other people’s.
Plus, it’s not good for those of the near and far shores to interact closely.
Because death is the thing that ruins people the most.
Gods are normally supposed to interact with people without them really noticing they’re there.
Because in the end, only people can save each other.

Yato: “It’ll be all right.”
Yato: “You did the right thing…”
Note at the bottom of the page says that it’ll be on the cover of the next issue, which is released April 6th.
