For months there has been speculation Piers Morgan is set for the biggest career coup of his career - taking over from legendary U.S. broadcaster Larry King.
Now it has been confirmed that Morgan has signed a deal with King's network CNN.
NBC chairman Jeff Gaspin revealed that Morgan, 45, was the latest addition to the CNN news crew.

The move is widely thought to be the precursor to a multi-million dollar deal to take over from King when the veteran broadcaster retires from his hit show, Larry King Live, this autumn.
Morgan will split his time between NBC - where he has just signed a three-year deal as a judge for America's Got Talent - and the news station.
He is expected to step down from his role as a judge on Britain's Got Talent, due to scheduling conflicts.
