After days of relentless tracking and teamwork, the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) Veterinary and Capture Unit successfully wrapped up an overnight operation — capturing two male lions that had been preying on livestock around Mutara Farm.
The lions were safely tranquilized and secured for translocation to one of Kenya’s stunning National Parks — where they will thrive in the wild.
It’s a big win for community safety, a proud moment for conservation, and a bold reminder of the wild beauty that makes Kenya truly magical!
